This classic film by Fritz Lang with Peter Lorre in the leading role is one of the first German sound film productions.

This is of course not a Lacrimosa film, but there is an interesting connection with the Lacrimosa song Schuld und Sühne.

It gets very interesting from 1:41 hours onwards.
